Undefeated
The Yass Soldiers Club sponsored Under 12 Redbacks had a comfortable 4-0 win over Majura in their last match of the season on Saturday. The win maintained their unbeaten record for this year and capped off a fine season for these talented kids. Tim Hazell scored our first goal when he took possession at half way and made a long run to within striking distance and then slid the ball past the keeper.It wasn't long before Tim scored again after a busy Richie Alley and Tim Farmer did the lead up work to make the half time score 2-0.
It took a while in the second half for the Redbacks to gain their momentum again but it was Richie who was in the right position to score after Tim Farmer had made a nice run before passing to Steve Burrows who crossed it to Richie in front of goal.Tim Hazell completed a hattrick with a strong shot and to make the final score 4-0.
